Creating a DM Tracking Campaign
1. Start a New Campaign
From your dashboard, click New Campaign and select ๐ Tracking (DM).
2. Set Campaign Details
- Campaign Name โ Internal reference
- Destination URL โ Where to redirect after tracking
- Landing Page โ Optional interstitial before redirect
3. Generate Tracking Codes
Same process as voucher codes:
- Set quantity to match your mailing list
- Optionally add a prefix
- Click Generate
4. Export for Print
Download CSV or ZIP with QR images, just like voucher campaigns.
Matching Responders to Your Data
The power of DM tracking is linking scans back to your mailing list:
- Export codes and assign to your mailing list rows
- Keep a record: Code โ Recipient Name/Address
- After the campaign, export scans
- Match scanned codes back to your list
Your list:
John Smith, 123 High Street โ Code: FEB-A7K3M2
Jane Doe, 456 Main Road โ Code: FEB-B8L4N3
After campaign:
Scan recorded: FEB-A7K3M2 โ John Smith engaged!
What You Get
For each tracking code that's scanned:
- Exact timestamp โ When they scanned
- Code identifier โ Which specific recipient
- Device info โ Mobile/Desktop, OS
- Location โ Approximate city
- Multiple scans โ If they scanned more than once
