Direct Mail Campaigns

Unique voucher codes for each recipient with print-ready QR exports

When to use Direct Mail campaigns

Use DM campaigns when you're sending physical mail (postcards, letters, leaflets) and want to track which specific recipients respond. Each person gets their own unique code.

Creating a DM Campaign

1. Start a New Campaign

From your dashboard, click New Campaign and select ๐Ÿ“ฌ Direct Mail.

2. Configure the Offer

Enter your campaign details:

  • Campaign Name โ€” e.g., "January 2026 Postcard Drop"
  • Offer Headline โ€” What appears on the voucher
  • Discount Type & Value โ€” The actual discount
  • Valid From/Until โ€” Campaign dates

3. Set Terms & Conditions

Add any restrictions that apply to the offer. These will be shown to staff when redeeming.

4. Create the Campaign

Click Create Campaign. You'll be taken to the campaign dashboard.

Generating Voucher Codes

Once your campaign is created, you need to generate the actual voucher codes.

1. Open Bulk Generation

On your campaign dashboard, find the Bulk Voucher Generation section.

2. Set Quantity

Enter the number of codes you need. This should match your mailing quantity. You can generate up to 10,000 codes at once.

3. Optional: Add Code Prefix

Add a prefix to make codes easier to identify (e.g., "JAN" โ†’ codes like JAN-A7K3M2).

4. Generate

Click Generate Vouchers. The codes are created instantly.

Exporting for Print

You have two export options:

๐Ÿ“ฅ CSV Export

Download a CSV with codes and redemption URLs. Use this if your print software generates QR codes from URLs.

Columns: code, redemption_url, created_at
๐Ÿ“ฆ ZIP Export

Download a ZIP containing CSV plus a folder of print-ready QR code images (300 DPI PNG).

Sizes: Small (20mm), Medium (30mm), Large (40mm)

Mail Merge Workflow

  1. Export your voucher codes (CSV or ZIP)
  2. Open your design software (InDesign, Canva, etc.)
  3. Set up mail merge with the CSV
  4. Link the QR code field to images from the ZIP (or generate from URL)
  5. Run the merge to create personalized prints
  6. Send to print!
๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Codes are interchangeable

It doesn't matter which recipient gets which code. Each code is unique and trackable, but they're not pre-assigned to specific people. Just mail merge in order.

Tracking Responses

As recipients scan their QR codes, you'll see real-time stats on your dashboard:

  • Vouchers Issued โ€” Total codes generated
  • QR Scans โ€” How many codes have been scanned
  • Leads Captured โ€” Email addresses collected
  • Redemptions โ€” Vouchers actually used in-store
  • Response Rate โ€” Scans รท Issued
